  • Our Sales Manager will work with you to curate menu options from our food hall vendors. Events can include custom menus, reception stations, shareable selections, or tasting style experiences. The variety of vendors allows for a diverse and dynamic culinary offering.

  • Yes,  however, at this time, all private events and full buyouts are limited to one Food Hall vendor per event. Our team will assist in coordinating menu selections that align with your event style, budget, and any dietary considerations.

  • Each vendor offers tailored event packages, including passed hors d’oeuvres and reception style stations. Menus are customized based on your group and event goals.

  • Many of our vendors offer vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, and allergen friendly options. We will work with you to ensure appropriate selections are available for your guests.

  • Beverage packages are available through Bacaro Café and Bar, including beer, wine, cocktails, and non alcoholic options. All alcohol service is provided through Bacaro Bar and valid identification is required.

  • A 24% service charge and applicable taxes will be added to all food and beverage totals. Final pricing details will be included in your customized proposal.

  • Each selected vendor will provide appropriate staffing to support their food and beverage service, in coordination with your Sales and Catering Manager. Additional staffing, including servers or event captains, may be required based on guest count, service style, and overall event scope.

  • A buyout includes exclusive use of the designated private space, Bacaro Café, and the bar area. Specific inclusions and access will be outlined in your event agreement.

  • If an Eastern Edge Food Hall Vendor is not utilized, the applicable food and beverage minimum will convert to a rental fee. Any food & beverage (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) purchases made directly with food hall vendors are separate and above the rental fee.

  • Outside food and beverages are not permitted, with all offerings required to be sourced through an Eastern Edge Food Hall vendor. Custom cakes or celebratory desserts may be permitted with prior approval.

  • Décor is welcome within established event guidelines. Open flames, confetti, and any items that may disrupt the food hall environment are not permitted. Branding elements, including signage or screens, may be approved in advance. Nothing may be affixed to windows, wood surfaces, columns, or any structural elements.

  • Visual support such as projectors and screens can be arranged. However, Eastern Edge remains an active food hall environment, and the music and overall ambiance are part of the experience. The private space is not conducive to events that require a quiet setting for formal presentations. Separate audio or music distinct from the food hall environment is not permitted.

  • Music remains consistent with the food hall environment and cannot be customized for individual events. DJs or separate audio systems are not permitted.

  • No. Eastern Edge is an active food hall and the private space is visually defined but not acoustically isolated. The music and energy of the hall are part of the overall experience.

  • Standard Private Dining bookings are based on a two-hour event window. Vendors and clients will have access to the space one hour prior to the event for setup and one hour following for breakdown. Extended time may be available for an additional fee and must be arranged in advance. Full buyouts are based on a four-hour event window, with timing dependent upon the selected start time.

  • Initial guest count and preliminary menu selections are due ten business days prior to the event. Final guest counts must be confirmed no later than seventy-two hours before the event date. All specific deadlines will be outlined in your contract.

  • A deposit is required to secure your date. Final payment timelines and cancellation policies will be outlined in your event agreement.

  • Security may be required for larger events or events serving alcohol, depending on guest count and timing.

  • Public street parking and nearby parking garages are available. The Kendall Square MIT Red Line provides convenient public transit access. Parking is not included in event pricing.
